Our Fisherman’s Soap is a must have for a Happy Fisherman. Anise is known to eliminate the human odor. Not to mention the fish go crazy over Anise Essential Oil. My Dad would keep a chunk of Anise Soap in his tackle box to rub on the lure/hook after tying it on. I love to keep some in the kitchen to help get rid of the scent of onion or garlic on the hands. I add a small amount of fine pumice powder to the soap to provide a gentle exfoliation that is strong enough to get the fish slime off the hands!
All of our soaps are made in small batches by using the cold-process method. I combine lye and oils and pour into molds. The soap batter is then sculpted and swirled by hand and left to saponify (harden) overnight. I cut the loaf the next morning one bar at a time. Each bar of soap is made with premium oils and ingredients! I use shea butter in many of my soaps because I love the benefits it provides to the product. Shea butter is considered to be high in vitamins and minerals and leaves your skin feeling ultra soft!
Made with the highest quality of ingredients, it is gentle enough for sensitive skin, but cleansing enough for the dirtiest of hands! Made with saponified Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Essential Oil, Pumice Powder and Skin Safe Natural Clays and Colorants.
Listing is for 1 bar weighing approximately 4.5 oz.
Due to the handmade nature of our products color, design and shape may vary slightly.
To extend the life of your soap, use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct water streams or standing water.
